2026 Walk for Empowerment - REGISTRATION

Join us on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at Roosevelt Park in Edison, NJ for our annual fundraising and Spina Bifida Awareness event:

WALK FOR EMPOWERMENT 2026

Enjoy refreshments, activities, socializing, and of course, a lovely Stroll & Roll around the beautiful lake!

Win great prizes at our fabulous Tricky Tray!

Where: Roosevelt Park, 151 Parsonage Road, Edison, NJ (We'll be in front of the Skating Rink, near the pond at the northern end of the park)

When: Sunday, May 31, 2026 (This event is Rain or Shine.)

Check-in/Registration opens at 10:00 am.

Warm-up will take place at approximately 11:00 am.

The Walk around the pond begins at approximately 11:30 am.

Light Refreshments will be available. 

Tricky Tray tickets will be drawn at approximately 12:30 pm. We have lots of great items, including Event Tickets, Gift Cards, Gift Baskets and more!

Registration Fee: $20 for Adults 18+; $15 for Youth 11-17 yrs and Free for Children 10 & under

**Our special Walk for Empowerment t-shirts are included with registration, if you register by mid-night on Friday, May 8th.

Our Annual Walk is more than an event — it’s a movement. As our signature fundraiser, it powers the essential programs and services we provide to children, adults, and families all year long.

You can Create a Fundraising Page or Create a Team - Here - through Peer to Peer online fundriasing and ask friends and family to donate.  You can add a picture or image and change the content of the letter to make it more personal. Can’t join us in person? You can still be part of the excitement from anywhere! Create your own Walk experience in your neighborhood, at a local park, or even on your treadmill. Set up your fundraising page and start inviting support — virtual participants are eligible for the Top Fundraiser prize, a $25 Amazon gift card. Send us your photos and videos — we love celebrating our Walkers on social media!
