On June 5, I will be walking (rolling...crutching...limping, gimping and rollatoring) with my SB peeps in Somerset NJ for spina bifida empowerment! The Spina Bifida Recourse Network has it's Walk for Empowerment on that date, and I encourage you to join me! And if you can't.... would you please consider making a small (or large) donation to my fundraising page?
Thanks everyone and hope to see you there!

Dear Friends,
We need your help more than ever! As you know, I’m participating in the Walk for Empowerment in Somerset, NJ on June 7thto raise awareness about Spina Bifida and to raise funds for the nursing and family support coordination that the Spina Bifida Resource Network (SBRN) provides to children and families.
The State of NJ has eliminated all funding for the services SBRN provides to children under the age of 21. In spite of this setback, SBRN has continued to provide nurses and family support coordinators to families’ homes, school meetings, medical visits and hospital beds to provide assistance, training, advocacy, comfort and support as needed. SBRN is committed to continuing services to children with Spina Bifida, however, now they need our support even more.
I have been personally touched by Spina Bifida, and I hope that you will consider supporting my efforts to help SBRN and the children and families it serves. There are a few ways to do this:
Making a donation is easy and secure- simply click the "Donate Now" button in the upper right to donate. Make sure to bookmark this page and come back often to check on my progress!
Thank you for your help and support!
